After 21 years as a Dental Assistant, founder, Annette Young was looking for the next step in her career and explored being a Dental Assistant Instructor. In 2005, Annette was inspired to open Altrain Dental Academy with the goal of teaching students not just textbook curriculum but to also provide hands-on learning in a real-world environment and offering job placement. Fourteen years later, the school expanded adding the Medical Assistant program with the same hands-on learning platform and methodology that was so successful with the Dental Assistant program. Since that time, the business has expanded to Paralegal/Legal Assisting, the first of it’s kind in Arizona.
